Effect of Ambulatory Glucose Monitoring Combined with Insulin Pump Therapy on Blood Glucose and Lipid Levels and Pregnancy Outcomes in Gestational Diabetes Mellitus Patients
Objective To explore the application effect of ambulatory glucose monitoring combined with insulin pump therapy in gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)patients. Methods The clinical data of 80 cases of GDM patients ad-mitted to Chengwu County People's Hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were retrospectively selected, and they were divided into two groups of 40 cases each according to different blood glucose monitoring and treatment methods. The control group was treated with glucose monitoring combined with insulin injection, and the observation group was treated with ambulatory glucose monitoring combined with insulin pump.Compare the two groups'blood glucose and lipid levels and pregnancy outcomes. Results After treatment, fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, total cholesterol, triglyceride and low density lipoprotein cholesterol in observation group were lower than those in control group, and high density lipoprotein cholesterol was higher than those in control group. The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcome in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Ambulatory glucose monitoring combined with insulin pump therapy can improve the blood glucose and lipid indexes of GDM patients and reduce the incidence of adverse preg-nancy outcomes.
