Objective Compare the accuracy of blood glucose test and urine glucose test in order to evaluate their clinical application value in the test of diabetes patients. Methods 40 patients suspected of diabetes admitted to Linqu County People's Hospital from May 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects. All patients re-ceived urine glucose test and blood glucose test.Glucose tolerance tests were used on all patients as the diagnostic gold standard to compare the accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and other indicators of the two testing methods. Results The sensitivity and accuracy of blood glucose test were higher than those of urine glucose test, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the specificity between the two test-ing methods(P>0.05).Conclusion In clinical diagnosis of diabetes, the accuracy of blood glucose test is higher than that of urine glucose test. Therefore,it can be used in the clinical diagnosis of diabetes to improve the diagnostic accu-racy and reduce missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis, and provide a strong basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
