Objective To analyze the effect of different ways of insulin use on blood glucose level in children with dia-betes.Methods Retrospectively selected the clinical data of 40 cases of pediatric diabetes mellitus children admitted to Jinjiang Hospital in Fujian Province from January 2021 to December 2023 According to the different treatment mo-dality,they were divided into the reference group(n=20,insulin multiple subcutaneous injections treatment)and the observation group(n=20,insulin pump infusion treatment). The serum inflammatory factor levels, blood glucose levels, and clinical indicators between two groups of pediatric patients were compared. Results Comparison of serum inflam-matory factor levels and blood glucose levels between the two groups before treatment, and the differences were not statistically significant(both P>0.05);after treatment, the serum inflammatory factor levels and blood glucose levels of the observation group were lower than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Compared with the clinical indicators of the reference group, the observation group used less insulin, reached the 2 h postprandial blood glucose level earlier, and had a shorter hospitalization time, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Compared with the total effective rate of clinical treatment of the two groups, the difference was not statistically significant(χ2=2.057,P>0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of children with diabe-tes,the choice of insulin pump infusion can reduce the level of inflammatory factors in children, reduce the amount of insulin, promote the blood glucose level of children to reach the standard, shorten the hospital stay, and significantly improve the blood glucose level of children.
