Objective To analyze the value of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in treating type 2 diabetes with mixed cold and heat syndrome.Methods 92 patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to Shandong Guoxin Yiyang Group Zaozhuang Central Hospital from November 2022 to November 2023 were selected as the study objects,all of them were of mixed cold and heat syndrome.They were divided into the control group and the treatment group with 46 cases in each group according to the method of rolling dice.The control group received treatment with metformin,while the treatment group received additional treatment with Banxia Xiexin Decoction based on the control group's treatment.Blood glu-cose index,symptom score and therapeutic effect were compared between the two groups.Results Before treatment,the 3 terms of blood glucose indexes of the two groups of patients had no statistically significant difference(all P>0.05).After treatment,the 3 terms of blood glucose indexes of the two groups decreased,and the blood glucose in-dexes of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05).Before treatment,the 3 terms of symptom scores of the two groups of patients had no statistically sig-nificant difference(all P>0.05).After treatment,the 3 terms of symptom scores of the two groups decreased,and the symptom scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 95.65%,which was higher than 80.43%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Banxia Xiexin Decoction can reduce the symptoms of patients with cold and heat syndrome of type 2 diabetes.It can produce a strong hypoglycemic mechanism with a high efficiency,and promote the rehabilitation of patients.
