Objective To analyze the effect of the application of planned patient education model in diabetes.Methods A total of 100 patients with diabetes admitted to Laiwu Central Hospital of Shandong Nursing and Health Group from January 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the study objects.According to the order of admission,they were divided into control group(50 cases before admission)and study group(50 cases after admission).The traditional patient education mode was applied to the control group,while the planned patient education mode was applied to the study group.The scores of self-management skills and blood glucose were compared between the two groups of pa-tients.Results After nursing,the self-management skill score of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the blood glucose value was lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Patients who apply planned patient education model for nursing have significantly better self-management skills,stable blood glucose levels.
