Objective To study the correlation between urinary albumin creatinine ratio(UACR)and various param-eters of retinal microcirculation in patients with type 2 diabetes nephropathy.Methods Ninety-five patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy admitted to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University and Changzhou Geriatric Hos-pital of Soochow University from March to December 2022 were selected as the study objects.According to UACR level,they were divided into U1 group(UACR<10 mg/g,28 cases,28 eyes),U2 group(UACR:10-30 mg/g,46 cases,46 eyes)and U3 group(UACR:30-300 mg/g,21 cases,21 eyes).Using optical coherence tomography,Superficial Capillary Plexus Vessel Density,superficial capillary plexus vessel density,superficial capillary plexus vessel density,superficial capillary plexus vessel density,Gold ascular Zone(SCP-VD),Deep Capillary Plexus Vessel Density(DCP-VD),and Foveal Avascular Zone(FAZ)area and perimeter,and differences in observational parameters,The correla-tion between the index and UACR was analyzed.Results The areas of foveal SCP-VD,parafoveal SCP-VD,foveal DCP-VD,parafoveal DCP-VD,and FAZ were negatively correlation among 3 groups(all P<0.05).There was posi-tively correlation in the circumference of FAZ among 3 groups(P>0.05).UACR was negatively correlated with foveal SCP-VD,parafoveal SCP-VD,foveal DCP-VD,parafoveal DCP-VD(r=-0.410,-0.689,-0.545,-0.627,all P<0.05),and positively correlated with FAZ area(r=0.463,P<0.05).Conclusion In type 2 diabetes mellitus,UACR was corre-lated with foveal SCP-VD,parafoveal SCP-VD,foveal DCP-VD,parafoveal DCP-VD,and FAZ area.Retinal micro-circulation parameters of OCTA can be used as an index to evaluate the damage degree of diabetic nephropathy.
