Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the value of urinary microalbumine creat-inine ratio(UACR)in the early diagnosis of diabetic kidney disease(DKD).Methods 62 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus type 2(T2DM)suspected of suffering from DKD who attended Jianhu Third People's Hospital from April to November 2023 were selected as study subjects. The number of patients with early diabetic nephropathy was detected using the standardized tests of urinary microalbumin(UMA),urinary creatinine(UCr)and UACR,respectively, and renal punc-ture biopsy was used as the gold standard for detecting early DKD.The results were compared with the gold standard and the diagnostic efficacy values of the three assays were calculated. Results In terms of detection performance, the sensitivity and accuracy of UACR in early diagnosis were significantly higher than that of UMA and UCr alone, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Monitoring the changes of UACR is helpful for the early diagnosis of DKD.
