Objective To explore effective nursing measures suitable for patients with diabetes complicated with liver abscess,and analyze the influence of comprehensive nursing on blood glucose index.Methods A total of 60 patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with liver abscess admitted to Yancheng First People's Hospital from January 2018 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into the control group(30 cases)and the observation group(30 cases)by flipping a coin.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received comprehensive nursing.The blood glucose index,psychological state score and nursing satisfaction were com-pared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the fasting blood glucose level and 2 h postprandial blood glu-cose level in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After nursing,the anxiety and depression scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was sta-tistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing can improve the blood sugar status and negative emotions of patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with liver abscess,and improve the nursing satisfaction of pa-tients.
