Objective To analyze the clinical value of applying traditional Chinese medicine nursing model in elderly diabetes care.Methods A total of 70 elderly patients with diabetes admitted to the internal medicine department of Tengzhou Second People's Hospital from April 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the research objects.and divided into inquiry group and reference group by double-blind method.The inquiry group adopted traditional Chinese medi-cine nursing mode,and the reference group adopted routine nursing.Nursing satisfaction and blood glucose index be-fore and after nursing were compared between the two groups.Results The nursing satisfaction of the inquiry group was higher than that of the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before nursing,there was no significant difference in blood glucose index between the two groups(P>0.05);after nursing,the blood glucose index of the inquiry group was lower than that of the reference group,and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of traditional Chinese medicine nursing model in elderly diabetes care can improve patients'nursing satisfaction and reduce patients'blood glucose index.
