Objective To analyze the effect of dapagliflozin on renal function in patients with type 2 diabetic ne-phropathy,it provides the basis for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetic nephropathy patients. Methods A total of one hundred patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy diagnosed in nephrology department of Tai'an 88th Hos-pital from January to December 2021 were selected as the study objects.According to the different treatment methods, they were divided into two groups, control group(49 cases)was given metformin hypoglycemic treatment, and observa-tion group was(51 cases)given dapagliflozin on the basis of control group.Blood glucose control indexes and renal function related indexes were compared between the two groups after 2 months of treatment. Results After treatment, the fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin and fluctuation of average blood glucose in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, glomerular filtration rate the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, creatinine and blood urea nitrogen in the observation group were significantly lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Dapagliflozin significantly improved renal func-tion in patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy.
