Objective To investigate the effect of concomitant use of Tripterygium glycosides and dapagliflozin in the treatment of patients with diabetic nephropathy. Methods A total of 97 patients with diabetic nephropathy admitted to Huai'an Hongze District People's Hospital from January 2019 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into the control group(48 cases, treated with dapagliflozin)and the study group(49 cases, treated with dapagliflozin+Tripterygium glycosides)by random number table method. The treatment effect, renal function, the rate of overall incidence of adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group(95.92%)was higher than that of the control group(83.33%),and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(χ2=4.153,P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of blood creatinine, serum cystatin,24-hour urine protein quanti-fication in the study group were lower than those in the control group and the albumin was higher than that in the con-trol group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant differ-ence in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of dia-betic nephropathy, the use of dapagliflozin and Tripterygium glycosides at the same time can improve renal function, and the safety is high.
