Objective To investigate the effect of intensive insulin pump therapy on gestational diebetes mellitus(GDM).Methods A total of 86 GDM patients who were admitted to Shanghang County Maternal and Child Health Hos-pital in Fujian Province from July 2021 to June 2023 were selected as study objects and divided into control group(43 cases, with multiple subcutaneous insulin injection)and observation group(43 cases, with insulin pump intensive treatment)according to random drawing method.Blood glucose index, serological index and adverse pregnancy out-come were compared between the two groups. Results After 4 weeks of treatment, fasting blood glucose and 2 h post-prandial blood glucose in two groups were lower than before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The blood glucose compliance rate of observation group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Serum cystatin C and homocysteine were lower in two groups than before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The to-tal incidence of adverse pregnancy outcome in the observation group was 4.65%,which was lower than 18.60%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Intensive insulin pump therapy can effectively reduce the blood glucose level, serum cystatin C level and homocysteine level in GDM patients,pro-mote their blood glucose to reach the standard quickly, and improve the pregnancy outcome.
