Objective To study the role of color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of diabetic lower extremity athero-sclerosis.Methods A total of 136 patients with suspected diabetic lower limb atherosclerosis admitted to Linyi People's Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the study objects.Color Doppler ultrasound diagno-sis was performed for all patients, and angiography diagnosis was taken as the gold standard. The diagnostic efficiency of color Doppler ultrasound diagnosis and the diagnostic coincidence rate of different disease types were calculated. Results The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of color Doppler ultrasound diagnosis were 98.00%,98.84%,98.53%,and kappa=0.968.Color Doppler ultrasonography diagnosed 4 cases with non-smooth plaques,43 cases with non-smooth plaques, and 1 case with smooth lumen intima. The diag-nostic coincidence rates were 80%,97.73%,100%,respectively.Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound has a certain guiding significance in the diagnosis of lower limb atherosclerosis in diabetic patients, and can identify the lesion site.
