Objective To explore the effects of dapagliflozin combined with degu insulin on blood glucose and body weight of diabetic patients. Methods A total of 100 patients with diabetes admitted to the Hechi Third People's Hospi-tal from September 2020 to September 2023 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into the refer-ence group and the observation group with 50 cases each by computer random assignment. The reference group re-ceived treatment with dapagliflozin, while the observation group received additional treatment with degu insulin in ad-dition to the reference group. The blood glucose levels, insulin function, body mass data, efficacy and adverse reac-tions were compared betwen the two groups. Results The blood glucose level in the observation group was lower than that in the reference group, while the insulin function was better than that in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The body weight of the observation group was(67.14±4.51)kg,which was lower than the reference group's(69.28±4.37)kg,and the difference was statistically significant(t=2.410,P<0.05).The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the observation group(98.00%)was higher than that of the reference group(82.00%),and the total incidence of adverse reactions was lower than that in the reference group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion For diabetic patients, the clinical effect of dapagliflozin combined with degu insulin is more significant.
