Objective To study the effect of the combined treatment of insulin aspartate and insulin detemir on gesta-tional diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 112 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus treated in Taizhou Second People's Hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 56 cases in each group. The control group was treated with insulin aspartate, and the observation group was treated with combination of insulin detemir on the basis of the control group.Blood glucose levels, adverse reactions and pregnancy outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose, and glycated hemoglo-bin in the observation group were(5.30±0.42)mmol/L,(6.13±0.60)mmol/L,and(5.10±0.17)%,respectively,which were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=13.186,12.466,11.502,all P<0.05).The rates of cesarean section and perinatal adverse outcomes in the observation group were 10.71%and 8.93%,respectively,lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=5.657,4.236,both P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions(5.36%vs 10.71%)between the two groups(χ2=1.087,P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of insulin aspartate and insulin detemir in patients with gestational diabetes can better control blood glucose levels, achieve good pregnancy outcomes, and have good safety.
