Objective To study the application of color Doppler ultrasound in diabetic lower extremity vascular dis-ease.Methods A total of 78 diabetic patients with lower extremity vascular disease who were admitted to Longyan People's Hospital from September 2021 to September 2022 were selected as the lesion group, and 78 diabetic patients without lower extremity vascular disease treated in the hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.Color Doppler ultrasound was performed. The results of color ultrasound of lower extremity vascular lesions were compared between the two groups. Results The peak velocity of the middle popliteal artery blood flow in the le-sion group was(72.56±0.18)cm/s,which was lower than(80.13±0.26)cm/s in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=26.955,P<0.05).The peak velocity of dorsal artery of foot, femoral artery, posterior tibial artery in the lesion group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05).The arterial ankle-brachial index, inner diameter of arterial wall in the lesion group were lower than those in the control group, and its inner media thickness of arterial wall was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound can not only determine whether diabetes patients have lower extremity vascular lesions, but also judge their severity, providing a basis for clinical treatment and disease control, helping to detect early lesions, promoting early treatment, and improving dis-ease control effect.Meanwhile, clinical operation is simple and safe, repeated examination can be realized.
