Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of albacicept combined with calcium dobesilate in macular edema of diabetes retinopathy. Methods The clinical data of 100 patients with macular edema of diabetic retinopathy in Tianshui Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in from October 2020 to October 2023 were retrospectively se-lected and divided into two groups according to different treatment schemes, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given intravitreal injection of aflibercept, while the study group was combined with oral calcium dobesilate capsules on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(P<0.05).After treatment, the intraocular pressure of the two groups decreased significantly, and that of the study group was lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the best corrected visual acuity of the two groups increased significantly, and that of the study group was higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the macular foveal thickness of the two groups decreased significantly, and that of the study group was lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reac-tions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of oral calcium dobesilate during intravitreal in-jection of aflibercept in the treatment of macular edema in diabetes retinopathy is safe and has positive significance in promoting the recovery of patients'condition and improving their quality of life.
