Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of daggligin in the treatment of senile type 2 diabetes nephropa-thy and its impact on renal function.Method Eighty elderly patients with type 2 diabetes nephropathy admitted to Youxi County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into a control group and an observation group based on the difference of treatment drugs, both of which were 40 cases. The observation group was treated with dagglinide, and the control group was treated with metformin. After 3 months of continuous treatment, compare the efficacy(comprehensive improvement of renal function),blood glucose levels before and after treatment, and incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups.Result Before treatment, the fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose of the two groups of patients were both higher, and the difference was not statistically significant(both P>0.05);After treatment, the fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose of both groups of patients decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group reached 97.50%,which was higher than the 80.00%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of senile type 2 diabetes nephropathy, the comprehen-sive efficacy of daggligin is better than metformin, and the safety is higher.
