Objective To explore the application effect of integrated Chinese and western medicine nursing in patients with gestational diabetes.Methods A total of 90 cases of gestational diabetes mellitus patients admitted to Longkou City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2020 to March 2022 were selected as study subjects,and they were divided into two groups according to the method of randomized number table,each with 45 cases.The con-trol group was given conventional nursing care,and the observation group was given combined Chinese and Western medicine nursing care.Compared the intervention effects between the two groups.Results Satisfaction with nursing care in the observation group(100.00%)was higher than that in the control group(86.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events in the observation group(2.22%)was lower than that in the control group(20.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing care,the level of blood glucose index and Self-rating Depression Scale score of the observation group were lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The intervention effect of integrated Chinese and western medicine nursing on gestational diabetes mellitus patients is ideal.
