Effects of Continuous Care Tracking Based on Diet and Exercise Nutrition Intervention on Self-efficacy and Quality of Life in Elderly Patients with Type 2 Diabetes
Objective To analyze the effect of continuous care tracking based on diet and exercise nutrition interven-tion in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods A total of 128 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to Shouguang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were randomly divided into the general group(n=64)and the intervention group(n=64)by drawing lots.The general group carried out routine disease nursing,and the intervention group strengthened the continuous nursing tracking based on diet,exercise and nutrition intervention.The blood glucose index,self-efficacy,psychological status score,quality of life score and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention the blood glucose index,self-efficacy,mental state score and quality of life score of the patients in the intervention group were improved and significantly better than those in the general group,and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(all P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of patients in the intervention group was 98.44%,which was higher than 89.06%in the general group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of con-tinuous care tracking based on diet and exercise nutrition intervention in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes is very outstanding.
