Objective To analyze the effect of quality nursing care on blood glucose stability and delivery outcomes in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 60 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus admitted to Siyang County First People's Hospital from November 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects and according to the random number table method,they were divided into the control group(30 cases with conventional care)and the observation group(30 cases with conventional plus quality nursing care).Blood glucose stability,adverse birth outcomes,psychological status,nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results Fasting plasma glucose,2 h postprandial plasma glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin A1c and incidence of adverse birth out-comes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05).The scores of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the satisfaction with nursing care was higher,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of quality nursing care for gestational diabetes mellitus patients can help to improve blood glucose stability,labor and delivery outcomes,psychological negative emo-tions,and has higher patient satisfaction.
