Objective To investigate the effects of Lucentis plus vitrectomy on surgical indicators and visual recovery in patients with diabetic retinopathy(DR)and neovascular glaucoma(NVG).Methods Clinical data of eighty-five pa-tients with DR and NVG treated in the Department of Ophthalmology of Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medi-cine from September 2021 to August 2023 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups according to dif-ferent treatment methods. The control group(n=42,total 45 eyes)received vitrectomy for treatment, and the observa-tion group(n=43,total 47 eyes)received Lucentis+vitrectomy for treatment. The relative indexes of operation,intra-ocular pressure and visual acuity, hemodynamic indexes of ocular artery and incidence of complication were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the frequency of electrocoagulation into the eye was less than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There were no significant differences in preoperative intraocular pressure, visual acuity and hemodynamics between the two groups(all P>0.05).Compared with the control group, the intraocu-lar pressure and blood flow resistance coefficient of the observation group were lower 3 months after operation, and the optimal corrected visual acuity,end-diastolic flow velocity and peak systolic flow velocity were higher, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In patients with DR And NVG,the combination of Lucentis and vitrectomy can optimize the operative indicators, reduce the intraocular pressure, improve the hemodynamic indicators of the eye artery, accelerate visual recovery, and reduce complications.
