Objective To study and analyze the application effect of biochemical test and urine test in the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of two hundred patients with suspected diabetes mellitus admitted to the First Af-filiated Hospital of Xiamen University from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects,all of whom underwent biochemical tests and urine tests.The results of oral glucose tolerance test were used as the gold standard for the diagnosis of diabetes.The diagnostic values of different tests were analyzed.Results The accuracy and sensitivity of combined biochemical test and urine test in the diagnosis of diabetes were higher than that of single urine and urine biochemical test,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no signifi-cant difference in the specificity of different methods(P>0.05).Conclusion Biochemical tests are combined with urine tests to make a more accurate diagnosis of diabetes mellitus.
