Objective To analyze the effect of continuous insulin infusion in the perioperative period of patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with hip fracture. Methods Sixty-two patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with hip fracture admitted to Fei County Liangqiu Central Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to the double-blind method, the above patients were divided into the control group(mul-tiple subcutaneous insulin injection treatment)and the observation group(continuous insulin infusion treatment),with thirty-one cases each.Blood glucose control, incidence of adverse reactions and perioperative related indexes were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the blood glucose index level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The blood glucose standard time, incision healing time and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the insulin dosage in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of continuous insulin infu-sion in the perioperative treatment of diabetic patients with hip fracture is outstanding, which is beneficial to improve the blood glucose control effect and promote the healing of fracture.
