Objective To analyze the application value of double-C therapy ultrasound-guided microwave thermal ab-lation patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated benign thyroid tumors.Methods The clinical data of 90 pa-tients with type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with benign thyroid tumor who underwent ultrasound-guided microwave thermal ablation were retrospectively selected from July 2023 to February 2024 in the East Campus of Quanzhou First Hospital.Forty-five patients were treated with continuous subcutaneous insulin injection combined with ultrasound-guided microwave thermal ablation as control group,and 45 patients were treated with double-C therapy combined with ultrasound-guided microwave thermal ablation as observation group.Blood glucose level,effective control time,insulin dosage and complications were compared between the two groups.Results There were no significant differ-ences in blood glucose levels between the two groups before admission and after treatment(all P>0.05).Intra-group comparison showed that all blood glucose indexes of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before admis-sion,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The effective control time of blood glucose in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the dosage of insulin was lower than that in the con-trol group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The incidence of complications in observa-tion group was lower than that in control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Double C therapy can significantly increase the effective control time of blood glucose and reduce the dos-age of insulin,which is more suitable for patients'treatment needs.
