Objective To explore the effect of Shenqi Jiangtang capsule on type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods The clinical data of 80 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus admitted to Xicheng District Guangwai Hospital from January to December 2023 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups according to different treatment drugs,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with metformin hydrochloride tablets,and the study group was treated with Shenqi Jiangtang capsule on the basis of the treatment of the control group.Blood glucose level,islet function level and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,compared with the control group,the blood glucose level in the study group was lower,the islet function level was better,and the quality of life was higher,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Shenqi Jiangtang capsule in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus can reduce blood glucose levels,improve insulin resistance,and improve quality of life.
