Objective To explore the application value of metformin combined with acarbose in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)patients with stable hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods A total of one hun-dred and twenty T2DM patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage who were treated in Jiyang District People's Hospital of Jinan City from February 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into the reference group(metformin alone)and the observation group(based on the combination of the reference group with acarbose)with sixty cases in each group by envelope method. The clinical efficacy, the improvement of glucose metabolism indexes, the level of inflammatory factors and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical effect of observation group was higher than that of reference group, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 90 days of treatment, compared with the reference group, the levels of glucose metabolism,interleukin-6 and interleukin-12 in the observation group were lower, and the levels of interleu-kin-10 were higher, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of T2DM patients with stable hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage, metformin combined with acarbose has a significant effect, which can improve the level of glucose metabolism and inflammatory factors, and the incidence of adverse reactions in patients with the combination of the two drugs has not increased significantly.
