Objective To analyze the specific effect of health management on elderly patients with hypertension com-bined with diabetes.Methods A total of ninety elderly patients with hypertension combined with diabetes treated in Tai'an Rongjun Hospital of Shandong Province from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects,and di-vided into control group(45 cases with conventional management intervention program)and observation group(45 cases with health management intervention program)according to the difference in intervention programs.Blood pressure level,blood glucose level and quality of life before and after intervention were compared between two groups.Results Compared with the same group before intervention,all blood pressure indexes and blood glucose indexes of the two groups after intervention were significantly decreased,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Compared with the control group after intervention,the blood pressure indexes and blood glucose indexes in the obser-vation group were significantly lower,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Compared with the same group before intervention,the quality of life score of the two groups after intervention was significantly increased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group after intervention,the quality of life score of the observation group was significantly higher,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of health management on elderly patients with hypertension combined with diabetes is remark-able,which can improve the quality of life of patients,and adjust various blood pressure indexes and blood glucose in-dexes close to the normal level.
