Objective To study the effect of health education on relieving anxiety and depression in nursing of chil-dren with diabetes.Methods A total of ninety-six children with diabetes diagnosed and treated in Zibo Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects,and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with forty-eight cases in each group.Routine nursing and health education were adopted respectively.Blood glucose index(fasting plasma glucose and 2-hour post-prandial plasma glucose),psychological and emotional score(anxiety and depression)and compliance rate were com-pared between the two groups.Results After the intervention,the blood glucose levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After interven-tion,the psychological and emotional scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The compliance rate of observation group was higher than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Strengthening health education in the care of children with diabetes can help alleviate the negative psychological emotions of anxiety and depression,make the children more compliant with the clinical intervention work,control the blood glucose level reasonably,and optimize the prognosis.
