Objective To investigate the correlation between the grade of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)and neuroelectrophysiological indexes. Methods Forty-one DPN patients admitted to Binzhou Central Hospital from March 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the DPN group, and Forty-one healthy people who underwent physical ex-amination during the same period were selected as the control group. All study objects were examined by neuroelectro-physiological indexes. The nerve conduction indexes of the two groups and the nerve conduction indexes of different disease grades were compared, and the correlation between DPN disease grades and nerve electrophysiological in-dexes was analyzed. Results The mean corpuscular volume(MCV)and amplitude of median nerve(MN)and common peroneal nerve(CPN),sensory conduction velocity(SCV)and amplitude of MN and motor conduction velocity(SPN)of DPN group were lower than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the amplitude of MN,CPN MCV and amplitude, and MN,SPN SCV and am-plitude among different grades of DPN(all P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that DPN disease grade and ampli-tude,and MN,CPN MCV and was negatively correlated with MN and SPN SCV and amplitude(all P<0.05).Conclusion Neuroelectrophysiological indexes are correlated with DPN disease grading, which can effectively judge the disease grading of DPN and has high diagnostic accuracy.
