Objective To analyze the clinical effects of two types of insulin administration on diabetic ketoacidosis(DKA).Methods The clinical data of ninety-eight DKA patients admitted to Army 73rd Group Hospital from Septem-ber 2022 to June 2023 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups with forty-nine cases each according to different treatment methods.Insulin was injected intravenously in the control group and pumped subcutaneously in the study group. The clinical efficacy, symptom improvement time, blood glucose level and the incidence of adverse re-actions were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical efficacy of the study group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the im-provement time of all symptoms in the study group was shorter, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the blood glucose levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in incidence of adverse reac-tions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of DKA with subcutaneous insulin pump can im-prove the curative effect, promote the improvement of symptoms, reduce blood glucose level, and have less adverse re-actions.
