Objective To analyze the effects of liraglutide in the treatment of blood glucose,insulin resistance and quality of life in overweight patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods A total of 216 diabetic patients admitted to Jurong People's Hospital of Jiangsu Province from January 2018 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and di-vided into two groups with 108 cases each by sealed envelope method.Both groups received conventional treatment with islet pump,the control group received treatment with metformin,and the study group received treatment with met-formin combined with Liraglutide injection.Both groups were treated for 3 months.Blood glucose level,islet function and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results After the intervention,the blood glucose level of the study group was lower than that of the control group,the islet function was better than that of the control group,and the quality of life score was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Liraglutide in the treatment of overweight type 2 diabetes can reduce blood sugar levels,im-prove insulin resistance,and improve the quality of life of patients.
