Objective To explore the efficacy of Wuling powder combined with repaglinide in the treatment of obese type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods Ninety-two obese patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus treated in the Second People's Hospital of Huining County in Gansu Province from December 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group(treated with repaglinide)and observation group(treated with Wuling pow-der combined with repaglinide)by random number table method,with 46 cases in each group.The efficacy,blood glu-cose and obesity of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin A1c,body mass index and waist-to-hip ratio of both groups were decreased,and the observation group was lower than the control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of repaglinide combined with Wuling powder in the treatment of obese type 2 diabetes mellitus is better,which can improve the overall curative effect of patients,help to reduce the blood glucose level of patients and reduce the degree of obesity.
