Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of the combination of lipoic acid and telmisartan in the treat-ment of diabetic nephropathy,as well as the impact on blood glucose levels and hemodynamics.Methods A total of 78 patients with diabetic nephropathy admitted to Mengyin County People's Hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the different treatment drugs,they were divided into two groups,with 39 cases in each group.Control group was treated with telmisartan,the study group was treated with lipoic acid+telmisartan,compared two groups before and after treatment of blood glucose levels,renal hemodynamic,renal func-tion,and drug safety.Results After treatment,the blood glucose level,renal hemodynamics and renal function of the two groups were better than those before treatment,and the study group was better than the control group,and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The drug safety of the study group was higher than that of the con-trol group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined treatment of lipoic acid and telmisartan in diabetic nephropathy can improve the blood glucose level,renal hemodynamics and renal func-tion of patients with diabetic nephropathy,and the drug is safe.
