Objective To analyze the effect of vitamin D supplement combined with acupoint massage in the clinical treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods Sixty cases of gestational diabetes mellitus admitted to Overseas Chinese Hospital of Jinjiang City from January 2021 to February 2024 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group(30 cases with vitamin D supplementation)and observation group(30 cases with vitamin D supple-mentation combined with acupressure)by different treatment methods. The blood glucose levels(fasting plasma glu-cose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin A1c),the incidence of maternal complications(polyhydramnios, gestational hypertension, postpartum hemorrhage),and the incidence of neonatal adverse outcomes(fetal distress, neonatal asphyxia, macrosomia)were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the blood glucose levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were sta-tistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of maternal complications and neonatal adverse outcomes in the obser-vation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of gestational diabetes with vitamin D combined with acupoint massage can re-duce blood glucose level and reduce adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes.
