Objective To explore the effect of insulin pump intensive hypoglycemic therapy on type 2 diabetes melli-tus(T2DM)complicated with coronary heart disease after interventional therapy. Methods The clinical data of 130 pa-tients with T2DM complicated with coronary heart disease who were treated in West China Xiamen Hospital of Sich-uan University(Research Institute)from January to December 2023 were retrospectively selected. All patients were treated with coronary heart disease interventional therapy.According to the different postoperative hypoglycemic therapy, they were divided into control group(conventional insulin injection therapy)and study group(insulin pump in-tensive hypoglycemic therapy),65 cases each. The levels of blood lipid and blood glucose(glycated hemoglobin A1c,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose, fasting plasma glucose, total cholesterol, triglyceride)and islet function(islet β cell function index, insulin resistance index)were compared between the two groups. Results There were no statistically significant differences in blood glucose, blood lipid and islet function between the two groups before treatment(all P>0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment, the blood glucose and blood lipid indexes of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,com-pared with the control group, the islet β cell function index was higher and the insulin resistance index was lower in the study group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The insulin pump was se-lected in the postoperative hypoglycemic of T2DM patients with coronary heart disease who underwent interventional surgery, and the blood lipid and blood glucose levels of the patients were improved, with consequent improvement in pancreatic islet function.
