Objective To analyze the related factors affecting postpartum blood glucose abnormalities in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods A total of 146 pregnant women with GDM who completed delivery in The First Hospital of Putian City from February 2021 to February 2024 were selected as the research ob-jects.All of them received oral glucose tolerance test after delivery. The results showed that the pregnant women with abnormal blood glucose were included in the observation group, and the pregnant women with normal blood glucose were included in the control group.A self-made questionnaire was issued to analyze the related factors affecting post-partum blood glucose abnormalities. Results The results of oral glucose tolerance test showed that 90 cases(61.64%)had abnormal blood glucose and 56 cases(38.36%)had normal blood glucose.Logistic regression analysis showed that the independent risk factors for abnormal postpartum blood glucose in GDM women included age,pre-pregnancy and prenatal body mass index(all P<0.05).Conclusion There is a close relationship between postnatal blood glucose ab-normalities in GDM mothers and older age and high pre-pregnancy and prenatal body mass index, and clinical staff should focus on the above influencing factors in order to reduce the risk of postnatal blood glucose abnormalities.
