Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of insulin pumping in the treatment of diabetic children. Methods Clinical data of 102 diabetic children admitted to Jinjiang Hospital(Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital Fu-jian Hospital)from June 2022 to January 2024 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups with 51 cases each according to different treatment methods. The treatment method of the control group was insulin injection, and the treatment method of the study group was insulin pump injection. The treatment time of both groups was 1 month. Before and after treatment, blood glucose levels(fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose, glycated he-moglobin A1c),insulin levels(fasting insulin, islet β function index, insulin resistance index),treatment conditions(time of blood glucose compliance and daily insulin dosage)and incidence of adverse reactions(Skin allergy, infection, pain, hypoglycemia)of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the levels of glycoated hemoglobin A1c,fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose in the study group were lower than those in the con-trol group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The time of blood glucose compliance and daily insulin dosage in the study group were less than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The insulin levels in the study group were better than those in the control group, and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Insulin pump therapy can effectively reduce blood glucose level and improve insulin level in diabetic children, and the risk of ad-verse reactions is low, which is conducive to the early recovery of children.
