Effect of Sacubitril Valsartan Combined with Dapagliflozin on Blood Glu-cose and Cardiac Function in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Objective To study the effect of sacubitril valsartan combined with dapagliflozin in the treatment of chronic heart failure and type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 86 patients with chronic heart failure combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus admitted to Xuzhou Tongshan District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups by different treatment meth-ods,with 43 cases in each group.Both groups received conventional treatment.The control group was given saubitril valsartan combined with repaglinide on the basis of conventional treatment,and the observation group was given saku-bactril valsartan combined with dapagliflozin on the basis of conventional treatment.The total effective rate,blood glu-cose(fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose),cardiac function(left ventricular ejection fraction,left ventricular end systolic diameter,left ventricular end diastolic diameter),islet function index(fasting insulin,islet β cell function index)were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment,the blood glucose level of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the cardiac function index level were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The fasting insulin of observation group was lower than that of control group,and the function index of islet βcell was higher than that of control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with chronic heart failure complicated with type 2 diabetes mellitus can obtain ideal therapeutic effect by us-ing sacubitril valsartan combined with dapagliflozin.This treatment program can effectively reduce their blood glucose level,stabilize their cardiac function,improve their islet function.
