Application of 5E Rehabilitation Nursing Model in Continuous Nursing care of Diabetes Patients and Its Impact on Blood Glucose Level and Qual-ity of Life
Objective To analyze the effect of 5E rehabilitation nursing model in continuous care of patients with dia-betes.Methods A total of 100 diabetic patients admitted to West China Fourth Hospital of Sichuan University from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different nursing methods, they were di-vided into control group(n=50,continuous nursing)and observation group(n=50,continuous nursing+5E rehabilita-tion nursing mode). The blood glucose levels(fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin),quality of life scores(satisfaction, influence degree, anxiety degree Ⅰ,anxiety degree Ⅱ)and compliance behavior scores(drug therapy, diet therapy, exercise therapy,self-monitoring,regular review)were compared between the two groups. Results The blood glucose indexes of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After nursing, the quality of life scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of drug therapy, diet therapy, exercise therapy,self-monitoring and regular review in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Adding 5E rehabilitation nursing mode in the implementation of continuous care for diabetes patients can improve the blood sugar level of patients, improve the compliance behavior and quality of life, which is conducive to the improve-ment of disease, and the effect is ideal.
