Objective To explore the effect of multidisciplinary collaborative nursing intervention on the rehabilitation effect and blood glucose level of patients with lower limb fracture and diabetes. Methods A total of 52 patients with lower limb fracture and diabetes mellitus admitted to Feixian People's Hospital from March 2020 to May 2022 were se-lected as the research objects. They were divided into two groups by different nursing methods, with 26 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with routine traditional nursing, and the study group was treated with multidisci-plinary collaborative nursing. The Fugl-Meyer Assessment Scale(FMA-L),blood glucose level(fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c)and the incidence of complications(joint stiffness, deep venous thrombosis of lower limbs, pressure injury and muscle adhesion)were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, compared with the FMA-L of the reference group, the score of the study group was higher, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the levels of fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c in the study group were lower than those in the reference group, and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion After clinical multidisci-plinary collaborative nursing intervention for patients with lower limb fracture and diabetes, the lower limb function of pa-tients is improved, the blood glucose level and the complications are reduced, and the clinical effect is better.
