Objective To analyze the effect of predictive nursing on blood glucose management, complications and quality of life in elderly patients with diabetic coronary heart disease. Methods The clinical data of 82 elderly pa-tients with diabetic coronary heart disease treated in Zaozhuang Municipal Hospital from February 2020 to January 2022 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups with 41 cases each by different nursing methods. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received predictive nursing on the basis of the con-trol group. The blood glucose levels(fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose, glycated hemoglobin A1c),complications(angina pectoris, severe arrhythmia, myocardial infarction, heart failure)and quality of life scores(psychological field, social relationship field, physiological field, environmental field)were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose, fasting plasma glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Predictive nursing intervention can achieve better nursing effect in elderly patients with diabetic coronary heart disease,it can control the level of blood sugar, reduce the incidence of complications and improve the quality of life.
