Objective To explore the effect of dapagliflozin combined with atorvastatin in the treatment of early dia-betic nephropathy. Methods A total of 76 patients with early diabetic nephropathy admitted to Lianshui County Hospi-tal of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to October 2022 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to different treatment methods, with 38 cases in each group. The two groups were treated with dapagliflozin, dapagliflozin combined with atorvastatin calcium, respectively. The blood glucose indexes, renal function indexes and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, fasting blood glucose, postprandial blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, cystatin C,homocys-teine and urinary albumin excretion rates in observation group were better than those in control group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was lower than that in control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of early diabetic nephropathy with dapagliflozin combined with atvastatin calcium is effective and beneficial to renal function recovery.
