Objective To analyze the clinical effect of modified Junzi Xiaopi Decoction in elderly patients with dia-betic gastroparesis.Methods A total of 90 elderly patients with diabetic gastroparesis admitted to Longyan Second Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the research objects,and according to different treatment meth-ods,they were divided into control group and observation group,with 45 cases in each group.The control group re-ceived routine treatment combined with mosapride,and the observation group was treated with modified Junzi Xiaopi Decoction on the basis of the treatment plan of the control group.The improvement of each index was compared be-tween the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the symptom scores,fasting plasma glucose,2 h postprandial plasma glucose,ferritin,serum motilin and cholecystokinin levels in the two groups showed a decreasing trend after treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,the gastric emptying rate and serum gastrin level of the two groups showed an increasing trend,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of modified Junzi Xiaopi Decoction on elderly patients with diabetic gastroparesis is remarkable,which is beneficial to the improvement of patients'symptoms,can improve gastric motility while regulating blood glucose,and has higher safety.
