Effect of Metformin,Canagliflozin Combined with Intensive Insulin Therapy on Newly Diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Its Influence on Blood Glucose Index
Objective To analyze the effect of metformin, canagliflozin combined with intensive insulin therapy on newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and the influence of blood glucose index. Methods A total of 90 newly diagnosed T2DM patients admitted to the Fourth People's Hospital of Zibo City from February 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study subjects. All patients received insulin-enhanced basic treatment.According to differ-ent treatment methods, they were divided into routine group and study group,45 cases each. The routine group was treated with metformin, and the study group was treated with metformin combined with canagliflozin.Blood glucose in-dexes(fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose, glycated hemoglobin A1c),blood lipid levels(total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol)before and after treatment, serum inflammatory factors(tu-mor necrosis factor α,interleukin-1β)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results Be-fore treatment, there were no significant differences in the levels of blood glucose, blood lipid and serum inflammatory factors between the two groups(all P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of blood glucose, blood lipid and serum inflam-matory factors in the study group were lower than those in the routine group, and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the clinical efficacy of the study group was higher than that of the routine group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion On the basis of intensive insulin therapy in newly diagnosed T2DM patients, combined with metformin and canagliflozin treatment can further improve the curative ef-fect,improve the levels of blood lipid and blood glucose, reduce the body's inflammatory response.
