Effect of Multidisciplinary Team WeChat Health Education on Postopera-tive Rehabilitation of Elderly Patients with Femoral Intertrochanteric Fracture Complicated with Diabetes Mellitus
Objective To analyze the value of multidisciplinary team WeChat education in the nursing of elderly pa-tients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture complicated with diabetes mellitus in promoting postoperative rehabilita-tion.Methods A total of 80 patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with femoral intertrochanteric fracture admit-ted to Weifang Second People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different nursing methods,they were divided into control group and observation group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group combined with multidisciplinary team WeChat health education.The blood glucose levels(fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose,glycated hemoglobin A1c)and quality of life scores(physiological function,physiological function,energy,social func-tion,emotional function,mental health)were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the levels of fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).After nursing,the quality of life scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of multidisciplinary team WeChat health education in elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture complicated with diabetes mellitus can improve the effect of blood glucose control in the rehabilitation stage and improve the quality of life of patients.
