Objective To analyze the clinical effect of insulin aspart in the treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus in obstetrics. Methods A total of 86 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus admitted to the Obstetrics Department of Juye County People's Hospital from November 2021 to October 2022 were selected as the research objects.Accord-ing to different treatment plans, the patients were divided into study group and reference group, with 43 cases each. The control group was treated with biosynthetic human insulin, and the study group was treated with insulin aspartate.Blood glucose(fasting blood glucose),treatment effectiveness, and incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes(low birth weight infants, macrosomia, and congenital abnormalities)were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in blood glucose level between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the blood glucose of the study group was lower than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the study group was lower than that in the refer-ence group, and the treatment effectiveness was better than that in the reference group, and the differences were statis-tically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Insulin aspart in the treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus can effec-tively control the blood glucose level of patients, reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes, and improve the therapeutic effect.
