Objective To improve the treatment level of gestational diabetes,to implement insulin aspart program in clinical practice, and to clarify its impact on patients with gestational diabetes. Methods A total of 65 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Xining,Qinghai Province from January to De-cember 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group(34 cases)and observation group(31 cases). The control group was treated with conventional regimen, and the observation group was treated with insulin aspart regimen. The adverse drug reactions, glucose and lipid me-tabolism indexes(fasting blood glucose index, postprandial 2-hour blood glucose index, glycosylated hemoglobin, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol),islet function indexes(fasting insulin index, insulin resistance index),blood glucose compliance time, total daily insulin, maternal and infant adverse outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the adverse drug reactions, glucose and lipid metabolism indexes, islet func-tion indexes, blood glucose compliance time, total daily insulin, and maternal and infant adverse outcomes in the ob-servation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of aspart insulin program in clinical practice is beneficial to inprove the vari-ous indicators of diabetes patients during pregnancy and their quality of life.
