Objective To analyze the effect of vitamin A combined with insulin detemir-insulin aspart in the treat-ment of children with diabetes mellitus.Methods The clinical data of 120 children with diabetes admitted to Jinjiang Hospital(Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital Fujian Hospital)from October 2022 to March 2024 were retrospectively se-lected and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods,60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with insulin detemir combined with insulin aspart,and the study group was treated with vitamin A on the basis of the control group.The levels of glucose and lipid metabolism(glycated hemoglobin A1c,fasting blood glucose,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol),blood glucose compliance time,and the rate of complications(retinopathy,ketoacidosis,hypoglycemia)were compared between the two groups.Results Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in glucose and lipid metabolism between the two groups(all P＞0.05).After treatment,the leves of glucolipid metabolism of study group were better than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).The time of blood glucose reaching the standard in the study group was shorter than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The in-cidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Vitamin A combined with insulin detemir-insulin aspart in the treatment of chil-dren with diabetes mellitus can significantly improve the level of glucose and lipid metabolism,increase the level of blood glucose,and reduce the risk of complications.
