Objective To analyze the effect of whole-course high-quality nursing on self-management ability,blood glucose and compliance in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 100 elderly patients with diabetes admitted to the department of Geriatrics,Tai'an 88 Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the re-search objects.According to different nursing methods,they were divided into study group and control group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the study group was given whole-course high-quality nursing.The self-management ability score,blood glucose level(fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucose)and compliance were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the self-management ability score of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the blood glucose indexs level were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The to-tal compliance of patients in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of whole-course high-quality nursing in elderly patients with diabetes is effective,which can enhance self-management ability,stabilize blood glucose level and improve compliance.
